Annika Mannström

Annika Mannström

In the words of the artist:

I have a degree in advertising graphics from Mainosgraafikkojen Koulu. In the 90’s, I worked as an art director at Stockmann and got to be part of many memorable campaigns. My illustrations can be found in educational material and magazines, and in 2010 I won the Children’s Book Contest arranged by the publishing company Schildts with my book Anton idrottar (Anton sports). I wrote the book both in Finnish and Swedish. Last year I lived six months in a chaotic collective in the French Alps, where I did off-pist skiing. There is still some spark left in the lady who, 30 years ago, took home a fourth place in the sailing race in the Olympics in Seoul.
