Arvo Lukala

The artist and graphic designer Arvo Lukala is chiefly known as a skilful illustrator of books, most of them for the publishing house Aura in Turku. One of the last commissions Lukala undertook in 1956 was to design the municipal coat-of-arms for Kustaavi, a municipality close to Turku. He worked on this project alongside Arvo Viljanti and Ahti Hammar.
