Jussi Pohjakallio

From the beginning of the 1950s, the photographer Jussi Pohjakallio worked as a press photographer for the magazine Suomen Kuvalehti, as well as for several foreign newspapers, In 1965, he set up his own studio and began concentrating on commercial photography.

Pohjakallio’s photographs have been published in many books, including the biography Suuria Suomalaisia (1962, ‘Great Finns’) and the book ”Hopealinja” about the shipping company, Silverline (1967).
